Speak to our team
If you’d prefer to talk through your project, we can advise on the right scaffold setup and next steps.
What types of scaffolding services do you provide?
We offer a full range of scaffolding services for commercial, industrial and residential projects, including scaffold design, erection, inspection, and dismantling. Whether it’s access for roofing repairs, full façade scaffolds for large builds, temporary roofs, or bespoke industrial solutions, we tailor the scaffold to your project’s needs.
Do you offer free site surveys and quotations?
Yes — we offer free, no‑obligation quotes for all enquiries. For many smaller or straightforward jobs (such as simple domestic scaffolding or basic access requests), we can often provide an accurate quote based on the details you provide over the phone, email, or from photos. For larger, more complex, or higher‑risk jobs, we may recommend a site visit to assess access, ground conditions, and safety requirements in person so we can tailor the safest and most cost‑effective scaffold solution for your project before you commit.
How quickly can you provide a quote and start work?
We aim to respond to quote requests within 48 hours, with site surveys arranged at your convenience. Once a quote is agreed, we’ll schedule your scaffold installation as soon as possible — timing depends on project size and availability.
Are your services compliant with UK safety standards?
Yes — all scaffolding work we carry out complies with current UK health and safety legislation. We follow the Work at Height Regulations 2005, which require that work at height is properly planned, risk‑assessed and carried out by competent people, and that equipment is inspected and maintained. We also build scaffolds in line with recognised industry guidance such as TG20:21, which provides standard, safe configurations for scaffold design and assembly. This approach helps ensure structures are stable, secure and fit for purpose.
Are your scaffolders qualified and insured?
Yes — all of our scaffolders are fully trained, competent, and insured to carry out scaffolding work safely. They hold CISRS (Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme) qualifications, which is the UK’s recognised industry standard for scaffold training and competence. Having a CISRS card means they’ve completed formal training and assessment that meets national safety expectations for scaffold erection, inspection, and dismantling.
Do you work with both domestic and commercial clients?
Yes. We cater to homeowners, trade contractors, and commercial businesses, delivering solutions for everything from small house repairs to large retail, office, or industrial development scaffolds.
What areas do you cover?
We cover Rotherham, Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster and surrounding neighbourhoods, including both residential and commercial zones.
What safety measures do you take during installation?
Safety is our priority. We install all scaffolding with proper edge protection (guardrails and toe boards), secure access points, ties and bracing, and ensure it’s stable and compliant before it’s handed over for use. During erection we follow recognised industry guidance such as TG20 for scaffold design and SG4 for safe working practices, ensuring every structure is safe, stable, and fit for purpose.
Do I need a permit for scaffolding on a pavement or road?
Yes — if the scaffold will overhang or encroach onto a public pavement or road, a licence from the local council is required. We can arrange this on your behalf if needed, ensuring everything is in place before work starts.
How long does scaffold erection and dismantling take?
Simple domestic scaffolds can often be erected within a few hours to a day, while larger or more complex commercial projects may take several days depending on size, access, and site conditions. For major projects, scaffolding can be installed in phases as part of a programme of works, sometimes running over several weeks or months. Dismantling is usually quicker once the scaffold is no longer required. Timing will be discussed and agreed with you before work starts.
How long can scaffolding stay up and can the hire be extended?
The length of time scaffolding can remain in place depends on the project requirements and the agreed hire period. If you need the scaffold for longer than initially planned, an extra weekly hire charge will apply. This price will be agreed in the original quotation.
Do you provide scaffolding for specific tasks (chimney, roof, painting)?
Yes — we provide scaffolding for a wide range of projects, including roof repairs, chimney work, painting, guttering, and other maintenance or construction tasks. Our team can assess your site and recommend the safest and most efficient scaffold solution to meet your project’s access requirements, whether for commercial, industrial, residential, or other specialised works.
How much does scaffolding cost and what factors affect the price?
Scaffolding costs vary depending on the size, height, duration, location, and complexity of the project. Smaller domestic jobs are typically more affordable, while larger or more complex commercial scaffolds require more materials, labour, and planning. Key factors that affect the price include the height and size of the scaffold, length of hire, access to the site, type of scaffold required, and any additional safety features or restrictions. Sites with limited access or more complex requirements can increase costs due to extra time and logistics. For an accurate price, we recommend getting in touch for a free, no-obligation quote tailored to your specific project.
Can you work with builders and contractors?
Yes — we regularly support builders, contractors, project managers, and trade professionals on new builds, refurbishments, roofing, and other access requirements.
How do I book your scaffolding services?
You can contact us by phone, email, or via our website contact form with details of your project. We’ll review the information and provide a quote — for simpler jobs this can often be done remotely, while larger or more complex projects may require a site visit. If you would prefer a site visit, we’re happy to arrange this. Once agreed, we’ll schedule installation at a time that suits you.
What happens after I request a quote?
Once you request a quote, we’ll review your project details and provide a price — often remotely for straightforward jobs, or with a site visit if required. If you’re happy to proceed, we’ll agree a start date and finalise any details before installation begins.
Do you offer ongoing support or inspections after installation?
Yes — we provide ongoing support throughout your project. All scaffolding is inspected and handed over as safe for use, after which regular inspections become the responsibility of the hirer or site manager. We can arrange ongoing inspection services if required at an additional cost.
